When I see people saying Brendon was this big bad tyrant and kicked everyone out of the band, I realize they are new and have heard false lore about the band. That is totally not what the dynamics were of the band. Brendon did not kick anyone out, nor did he have the power to. Brendon fell into depression after the split. We thank Rob for the best advice and friendship he offered to Brendon. If you didn’t know, all of the beautiful orchestral parts in Panic’s music is due to Rob. He is amazing!
and what if i said viva las vengeance is peak
It should be a legal requirement for everyone to listen to afycso
VLV is so bad like. It makes me ashamed to try defend myself as a post split Panic! fan. I love Brendon with all my heart but honestly what was that. 😭

i’ll never understand the vlv hate GO LISTEN TO SUGAR SOAKER NOW a borderline religious experience awaits you
Arlecchino × Columbina.
vlv isn't a very good album generally but listening to it in a certain mood you start to understand the painfully raw and very literal goodbye to something that you thought would define your entire life. and the people that helped you make it. letting go of it all with no idea what's ahead.
and honestly the earnesty in brendon's songwriting makes it even more devastating to listen to because its not even hidden behind metaphor or woven into a narrative it's literally just everything spelled out right there in the music with this desperation to confess it all that kinda makes me feel a little sick if i think about it too long.
anyway i kinda like it.
