hehe apologies if this has been talked about already, what's yummium's dynamic like with the whole cast? first impression, current opinion, other thoughts, etc etc... and maybe with sen or elyon too? ^_^
it hasn't, so you're all good!! I've only done an ollldddd journal entry after the demo from yummium's pov, and even if it was i wouldn't mind answering haha dw i'm long overdue a relationship chart for him.
yummium is the type of person who tries to get along with everyone, despite their odd tendencies, even if he doesn't trust them. he has a distorted view of relationships and slightly thinks of them like tasks he has to upkeep. he doesn't usually strongly dislike anyone. these are written with his mentality in mind.
kuras; (Like?) (dislike?) he woke up to the most beautiful woman? man? being he's ever laid eyes on. That's his first thought.
his second and much more rational thought is that he should be dead, it's odd to wake up in a clinic like his arm wasn't ripped off, and he doesn't know how long hes been out. he knows he's not in any immediate danger, but he's not too keen to be around kuras. he doesn't know his goal, why he saved him, anything; and not knowing puts him a little on edge around him.
leander; (Strongly dislike), right off the bat. his charm is familiar, and not in a good way. alarm bells about his general behaviour made him a lot more sharp about leander's actions, and that kinda makes him want to withdraw from interacting with him in the first place, even if he's so nice. he describes him as 'அடக்கமான ஆனால் ஆபத்தான நபர்' in his journal, or 'docile but dangerous person'.
ais; (dislike.) Does not know to act around him (he likes to make and maintain a good impression, but his meeting with ais was odd enough to render his usual mask of politeness useless.). yummium has never met someone so infuriatingly nonchalant and smug before, and he has to urge to break this behaviour. he knows the aura around the sea spring is incredibly off, but he's very, very interested in ocudeus and it's power. he wouldn't drink, but he wants to probe.
vere; (Like.) finds his wit endearing and his ties to the senobium intriguing, but is intimidated by him (it's clear vere has refined tastes, and he'd only be useful to work with if yummium fit in them.). he's on the investigate/friend list cause vere as an ally would be really helpful to him, and despite his crude behaviour, finds him honest. his behaviour is familiar in a lighter, 'i'm used to navigating this behaviour' way, so he finds him easy to emphasize with/talk to lol..
mhin; (Like.) Mhin's irritable behaviour is grating, but yummium doesn't blame them for their mistrust/judgement. if anything it proves to him that they're a rational, smart person. which means they can help him. They're knowledgeable and capable but in desperate need of a friend, and it's obvious mhin is coming around to realising that. yummium makes his first goal to convince them that they can reach both their goals by forming a 'temporary' alliance. (he intends to be best friends forever)
they've got a delicate behaviour that seems to require a little maneuvering to get used to and react to properly, but yummium is nothing if not persistent.
kuras: he's incredibly fond of him. not devoted, but something close. the more yummium digs into understanding his behaviour, his goals, his past, yummium only grows more attached to him, even if it's terrible stuff. he stands with his cancelled wife. he knows he would only make another forgotten tragedy, another last ditch effort at repentance in kuras's life. even so, if Kuras so wanted to, yummium will have no trouble laying himself to waste. he wants that cookie so bad yo he lowkey might kill himself abt it
leander: he hates him. he hates that he often reflects how yummium thinks and acts, how the only person that seems to understand his mind's horror is someone he despises. he hates that someone like leander can empathise with him, and he hates that someone like him can empathise with leander. he also begrudgingly acknowledges that he is unfortunately funny and kissable
ais: yummium wishes he was more of a help than he is a burden to him. ais withstands the ebbs and flows of yummium's passing hysterics often. he appreciates how patient and kind he really is underneath his nonchalance, and he wishes he doesn't have to dismantle ais (mentally) to probe about the deal with ocudeus. he wants ais carnally. he resents himself a little for it.
vere: a good friend. vere is honest, much more so than any of the others. vere handles his insanity like how it should be; bluntly, with just enough finesse to let him flutter back to his senses without a fall. Dismantling and understanding with his tendencies were a little painful, but he's durable, persistent, and pathetic enough to not be turned away so easily. vere's familiar enough to be the closest thing he has to home, in a way. he trusts vere more than himself. he's also the most fun out of all of them. yummium stands with his cancelled wife x2.
mhin: a good friend. he's grown protective of them, and he's a little obvious about it. mhin pushes often, but they're loyal to a fault. yummium is just as stubborn and durable enough to withstand everything they throw at him, to become something as reliable to them as they are to him. he looks out for them, even if it would kill him. broken birds stick together..!
