So I recently read a fantasy novel series, in it are a people which could be seen as Dark Elves, with the typical authoritarian hierarchical social rules, nobility, backstabbing and scheming.
There is a VERY high ranking noble from the clan of the immortal queen, and a lower-to-mid ranking noble.
And damn their chapters are written in a way that I just have to project a homoerotic subtext of yearning onto them (it's probably not meant like that, but I allow myself this self-indulgent reading).
And I have a fanfiction idea already; and if someone else didn't already came up with this constellation I might invented bisexual yaoi (I'm joking).
I want a BDSM scenario between them, but not out of them believing in the differences of social standing, but because they actually want to be equals, want to be on eyeheight outside of the social hierarchy and scheming and all, but they *can't* because their society puts too many restrains on them, so it has to be some sort of unhealthy BDSM with a lot of yearning.
But now the twist. The ruling clan has an honour guard of elite warriors, and I want to involve a female member of that honour guard (which is btw canon-compliant), a strong warrior-woman with broad shoulders and an undying loyalty to the ruling clan and a stoic demenaour.
She will be involved for all the rough, physical aspects of the BDSM, so the ruling noble doesn't have to actually touch the lower ranking one outside of tender caresses and similar things; but she will obviously just do what her ruler says.
So yeah I jokingly call that bisexual yaoi.
