I didn't see anything about this but what did you think of the new remix of Roxas and Xion's theme??? When they were fighting Saix with Sora?
It was really interesting! By that point in the game, the story had pushed me over emotionally, and the bombardment of things to pay attention to was reaching my limit hahahaha.I’m almost certain it was arranged by Ishimoto because it has a lot of his stylistic focus on percussion and it does his thing of...like, layering every instrument together as a massive wall of sound. In this case, it seemed to serve the scene fine. The transitions between Roxas, Xion, and Sora/Vanitas (Sora’s motif in minor) were also pretty good. I do wish the track didn’t do the whole Sora bit and the repeating Org XIII quote before repeating though--it felt wholly unnecessary and takes the focus away. Aside from this though, it was really fun hearing Roxas and Xion’s themes together in this new way
