Having been designed in-universe by the Nimbunnies, the solid, organic appearance of Jellupins is merely an external shell meant to protect and hide the true appearance of the endoskeletons.
Nimbunnies and Hoppixx are notoriously fixated on earth culture and media, and thus, the Nimbunnies created the fluffy protectors to resemble canines found here so that they’d be more easily accepted by the Hoppixx.
Due to their unassuming exteriors, the Jellupins were almost seamlessly introduced to Vivirh culture.
For those with container tails, it isn’t uncommon to see Hoppixx or even visiting Nimbunnies riding around as passengers with the Jellupins, who are more than happy to help their little friends.
With a size rivaled by the Kapsuuls, the Jellies are often a source of comfort, stability, and strength against adversity.
