A Very Tough Weedkiller

SBK will knock out ivy, vipers’ bugloss and many other deep rooted weeds with one application.  It will also eradicate japanese knotweed, but this takes persistence.  SBK is most effective if applied during spring, summer or early autumn.  It is much cheaper when bought in larger sizes.

The makers recommend spraying or using a watering can.  However, being almost organic, I target each weed by using an old paintbrush.  Before painting, it’s better to reduce the height of the weed and scrape the surface of what is left with (say) a garden knife.
