Iβve been meaning to expand my knowledge and really embrace creating a practice that reflects my interests and who I am. I really like the term, rebel witch, and want to experiment with it. Being able to blend art, sigil magic,being a devotee of Santa Muerte, and just crafting something that is as strange as I am, is exciting! I look forward to grow and see where this takes me.

Depicturgy is a term I coined back in 2021 to describe the practice of Art Magick, or Art Wizardry. I come from a long line of creatives: Painters, Illustrators, Sculptors, Writers, Theatre Actors, Songwriters, Musicians, etc. Every one of us uses our art to manifest our reality & change our future. Think Kaela Danso from the Charmed reboot. She uses the same type of magick that I do.
We are called Depicturgists. From the words Depict (as in "if I can depict it, I can give it form") + -urgy (Greek suffix, same as -er in English).
Depicturgy is Art Magick. Art is depicting beauty in all its forms! I have reblogged several things on Art Magick so I will just reroute them all here. Thanks for coming to my Witch Talk (get it?)!
