Here are some of the old photos of Cagayan de Oro City (Cagayan de Misamis). Found these photos in Facebook (I don’t own it)

Now and Then: Divisoria Cagayan de Oro. Photo was taken in the opposite side of the other. 

Now and then: Marcos bridge 2011 vs 1978. Gone the coconut trees and here come the billboards..

This is how CM recto Avenue look before the flyover was made. Photo was taken last June 14, 2011. Building on the left side is the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

St. Augustine Cathedral. Built in 1624 by Fray Agustine San Pedro. It was destroyed in 1778 due to fire. A new church was built by Fray Pedro de Santa Barbara with the help of the Kagay-anons and was inaugurated in 1780. In 1831, it was said that the Church was gutted and in 1841, it was built with concrete materials. The wooden cross in front of the main door was erected in 1888.

Ysalina bridge (formerly Carmen bridge). It was inaugurated last August 26, 1931. This bridge is the oldest in Cagayan de Oro City.
