@visiongrl gets a starter set in the much better Season 4 universe
"That's... wow."
What Cordelia just showed her on mystic playback... that was far above the advanced magicks Willow was doing these days. Made sense, what with Cordy being a half-demon now for... the greater good? If she didn't know better, she'd say they were all in a funny version of Sunnydale like out of one of Anya's wishes. But this was real life, and they had to protect what remained of it from Angelus. Again.
Willow had been brought in by the charming Winnifred, given her history with re-ensouling Angel once. But the Los Angeles crew hadn't been given the update on the redhead's whole recent... try to destroy all of existence thing. If only she could just grab Cordelia's wrist and share the memory like a highlight reel. But no, she'd have to use her words.
Maybe those could wait until after Angel was back safe, though.
Willow knew she posed a risk to everyone, using powerful magic again. But it's something she'd done once before, without touching a single shred of darkness. (Okay, maybe the teensiest shred.) She could do it again, no sweat.
"So, we've got a Slayer in a coma -- nothing new there -- and your visions. Angelus is also knocked out in the hotel basement, and there's a soul hidden somewhere in the ethereal plane. And if we don't fix things soon, we could have another apocalypse on our hands... No big, right?" She laughed somewhat nervously because this big was very big, actually.
