You were clinging onto Vision’s body, tears rolling down your face. He was slipping away, and you could feel just how weak his life force was. 

       “Vision, please,” you begged, “Just say with me. Hold on.”

       “I think I’m holding onto something that wants to so desperately get away from me,” Vision murmurs his voice barely audible. 

        Vision’s eyes flicker open and he looks over your face. He gently reached up to wipe the tears off your face: you hadn’t even realised you had begun crying. You were too distracted with keeping Vision alive. He couldn’t leave you, not yet.

       “No, you are wrong. You need to stay here. With me.”

       He manages a smile, but you can tell he is very drained.

       “How ever will I cope without you?” you ask, holding onto his hand tightly, “Who will cook for me now? And, hold me? Who will make me laugh and help me explore the world?”

       His breathing becomes more irregular.

      “You will manage. You will go on.”

       Everything stops. Vision. You. The World. In that moment, nothing seems real. You let out a painful scream, and began sobbing. Your body shakes. You’ve never felt anything like this before.
