Virtually Trapped

“Aww man, PAX is finally here! I’m going to get to test that game I was invited to test last year... hear they’ve been working on some serious updates for it... oh man. Finally in beta!” Jeremy could hardly contain his excitement. Finally, he’d be able to get some footage for Claws Encounters! It was already incredibly popular in the gaming scene, for an indie game, and Jeremy was looking forward to the full release.
Today, however, he’d been invited to a tournament! The top five players would receive the complete game early, along with special skins, colors and other perks for the character of their choice.
Checking the time, Jeremy quickly made his way to the area where they’d be holding the tournament. It was a large, open room where they had the game set up on a projector, showing the game in complete detail on a rather large screen. He saw a few faces he’d recognized from the last meetup, but the crowd here was bigger then before.
“Wheew... I’m even ten minutes early. This convention center’s not so hard to get around!”
He took an open seat where he could have a decent view of the screen, almost in the middle of the room near where the players would be.
