Virtual Care Circle: A support space for Black Trans women and Non-binary people!
As a peer facilitator, I am so excited to share with y'all about this project I am involved in.
A new peer led support space for Black Trans women and Non-binary people 16+ in the Greater Toronto Area. This project aims to create weekly virtual sessions focusing on self care, building social connectedness and strengthening relationships, mental health, and social determinants of health as well as facilitating bi-weekly access to emergency food bank access where needed. This project is organized through Women's Health in Women's Hands CHC and in collaboration with The Domino Project and the Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples.
The first two sessions will be this Wednesday January 13th 5:30pm-7:30pm EST and Friday January 15th 5:30pm-7:3pm EST
