Despite what was taken, I still play Fighting Games.
Up until 2018, I hadn't played a fighting game in a while, I still played video games and had for almost my entire life. But I had shelved fighting games.
My then Fiancé wanted to show me a anime he found on Netflix. Hi Score Girl. (Seriously give us a box set already)
The first thing I noticed was Ono, she's the other Main Character, the anime is about Street Fighter 2 and Arcades in the early snd through out the 90s in Japan. She loves Street Fighter.
Though I had played and knew of Street Fighter. It wasn't the first fighting game.
My First Fighting Game was Virtual Fighter.
Virtual Fighter 4.
A old title for the PS2, the game had been a gift from a older family member. They had taught me how to play, and I loved it.
I would pratice all the time, till I learned how to play well.
But someone I once trusted used my love of the gang against me.
Used it to hurt me in ways I doubt many could relate too.
But despite that, I still play it, to repair what was taken from me.
