I felt the mattress sagged under the weight of his body and then as the bed creaked. I mumbled sleepily, clutching a pillow in between the fingertips, yet I couldn’t stop the foolish grin at the corners of my lips when the muscles of his chest had pressed against my back and through a cotton undershirt I felt as warm he is, as the blood flows through his body and as his heart is beating. The smile faded for a moment and was replaced by an expression of pain, but nothing that I couldn’t bear, so I remained silent. Maybe he didn’t sense it, and also maybe he did it on purpose, but the pads of his fingers slowly roamed the outer line of my body and casually touched the scars and bruises on my skin. Ironically, I  suspended over it and pressed the buttocks into his lap.

The most of my bruises were his fault, anyways. After all the things I let him do with me at night, I expected him to be a little more subtle at our workouts during day. I remember how Natasha eagerly supported me in this masochism and I almost laughed when I recalled how Tony almost forced me to begin with this all.
