Playful flirtation is something that Wyatt can always use more of in his life. There’s been a certain heaviness to his days of late, something hanging over him that he neither wants to deal with nor acknowledge; the only benefit is that it makes it easier for him when he decides to be light. He decides to forget about it, and lose himself in somebody’s smile, somebody’s laugh. As of late, that person has been one of his neighbors: Violet. He hasn’t known her for very long, and he thinks that she thinks he’s just a silly boy barking up the wrong tree, but there’s something incredibly fun about their interactions that keeps him coming back nonetheless.
Today his excuse for showing up at her’s comes in the form of two coffees and a paper bag holding pastries from a particularly good bakery a couple blocks away. He’s got enough to share, that’s for sure. There’s also a book tucked under his arm, all the worse for wear, but not lacking in character, that’s for sure. When he knocks, he immediately settles into a confident stance to wait, just the slightest hints of a dimple denting into one of his cheeks. // @violxtlw
