Film russo-francese molto poco premiato e poco pubblicizzato ambientato ai giorni nostri che parla di un vecchio Direttore d'orchestra in via di fallimento finito a fare le pulizie nel teatro in cui ebbe gloria, il "Bol'soj". Fallito per colpa di un impresario che 30 anni prima gli stronca la carriera durante un concerto, perchè si rifiutò di espellere gli ebrei dalla sua orchestra, Andrej Filipov in un turno di pulizie straordinarie, trova un fax in cui c'è un invito da parte del teatro Chatelet di Parigi per l'orchestra del Bol'soj.
