As we get closer and closer to the full Sonic movie premiere (and thus I go crazier and crazier waiting to talk about it) I’ve decided to just revel even harder in the things I love not only about the movie itself, but the series as a whole. I myself am one of those fans that always comes back to Green Hill Zone as my security blanket, because for lack of a better description, it just feels like “home” to me in this fandom.
My favorite rendition of Green Hill’s theme ever was that little 10-second loop we got outside of the zone in Generations, and I always wanted a full version. Today I found this video, by Youtuber ViolinGamer, and it’s so beautiful I almost cried. This is officially my favorite rendition of the Green Hill theme. Rest assured I’ll be listening to this on a loop for the next few days.
3 more days left till KH13’s 2017 Kingdom Hearts Re:CAP!
We mentioned that there are many collaborative pieces of music through this film as well as Project Destati. We are also pleased to reveal that music created by Blue.Nocturne, Hollow Riku, ViolinGamer, Narutee, JulianSwegL0rd, Brent Shredz and The Team Players will also be featured! We love the creativity behind these tributes and imaginings of music for Kingdom Hearts. #KH13ReCAP
Man it is much easier to work on getting my queue built up again now that I’m not scrambling for remixes from Star Fox. Here’s a cover by TeraCMusic of the Molduga Battle theme from Breath of the Wild that blew me away. That violin part still gives me chills even after listening to it a billion times. Violin goals right there.
So right after I left the Great Plateau I headed west toward Gerudo. No particular reason, I mostly just picked a direction and dove. I wandered around through Gerudo canyon for awhile before heading up toward the tower, and had a lot of feelings to find it located on Spectacle Rock. But the first time the world caught me by surprise was when I spotted the South Lomei Labyrinth and was just like woooooooah. I didn’t end up exploring it til later, but I still remember that feeling of being blown away by the sight of it.
Look at my friend doing a cover from Yoshis Island. He's cool check out his other covers. ALSO he has an album of covers on itunes an llaces like that.

This is a violin cover of the Delfino Plaza theme from Super Mario Sunshine on the Nintendo GameCube. I heard this awesome tune from Smooth McGroove's cover,...
This is my friend. He’s a cool friend.
