There is an equal amount of Beta's, Omega's, and Alpha's. No one sub-gender is more common than the other.

Alphas:

Alphas are obviously the most respected, due to their natural leadership, and dominant personalities. This got to most alphas heads, and is why most all leadership roles are led by Alphas.

An alpha rut happens once every 3 months, and they last about 1-2 weeks. This state makes the Alpha crave sexual release, and they experience stronger sense of smell, taste, sight, hearing, and touch. it also causes stomach and headache. This state is easy to control, but many Alphas use it as an excuse to harm others, specifically Omegas, due to the fact ruts are dealt with easier with another person.

An alpha can get Omegas, and female Betas pregnant.

Alphas have a Knot, that expands after a release.

Alphas tend to have a larger build, and a stronger scent.

Male Alphas only have a dih

female alphas have a vagina, it just does not work... they also have a dih!

Betas:

Beta males can get omegas pregnant, it is just rare. Beta females can get pregnant, it is just very rare.

Betas are the closest thing to our normal word, other than the fact that beta males can get male omegas pregnant, and beta females can get pregnant from female alphas. fire asf if you ask me.

Betas have a harder time detecting scent, but they do have one of their own.

They have a higher chance of getting hired at younger ages because they do not have a cycle they go through, other than the women who have periods.

periods in this world also work differently, and it is exclusive to betas with female anatomy. (Periods are 2 times a year, and last only 2-5 days)

Omegas:

Omegas, due to their more submissive nature, were taken advantage of at the beginning of the omegaverse phenomenon. But as time went on, laws came into place, and they are seen as capable individuals. There are still many people who discriminate against them, despite everything.

Omegas have heats. and this can last anywhere from 1-2 weeks. a heat happens once every 2-3 months. Just like Alphas, their senses are heightened. Omegas experience fevers, aching in their stomach, headaches, and touch-starved like feelings when in heat. They can last on their own, but another person helping them, especially Alphas, make it more bearable. Omegas tend to want to Nest, with scents that make them comfortable.

Omegas can get pregnant, despite their gender, and male omegas develop a uterus connected to the bottom when they present, which makes presenting a stressful time.

Same sub-gender relationships were not common until about 25 years ago, and even then, it is pretty rare.

A pack has its head Alpha, its Luna, and its secondary Alpha, traditionally. Not having a pack is usually seen as quite odd.

Polyamorus packs are a little rare, but it is still quite common for newly formed packs.
