Most of this is just Kate posturing, but there's one line that has us double-taking.
"They look like kids... like teenagers. They're called The Orphans."
Let us repeat that. They LOOK like kids.

What exactly are Violet and Garrett? Are they supernatural? 'Cause I just spent like an hour googling "mythical creatures that look like children," and I came up mostly dry, but I am newly interested in watching Orphan Black.
Or are they just run of the mill twenty year olds masquerading as teens in high school? (which would be hilarious since they are the only actual teenagers on the show) They're a little too easy-breezy about killing people with none of the teen angst one might expect. And we saw Garrett go straight for that wine at a keg party. What teenager goes straight for the red wine and pours it into a wine glass and everything at a big house party? Not a solo cup in sight. And we saw him driving a car... which we know they must be keeping quiet because of that comment about taking the bus to school.
Are they children of hunters killed by beasties, out to take revenge and get some college money on the side? That seems to make the most sense right now. Except without the college part. You don't go for a seven-figure kill and then get your bachelor's in history.
