[ and it made the eldest knight, grow beyond angry. his powers flickering over his hands. ] ❛ hm not the person i expected to see around my child !! ❜ he drawls: managing to keep his calm, but only fucking barely. as red burning eyes, look upon the other. the air being sucked to almost non-existence due to his powers. he scents the air, and can smell his daughter. but lucky enough she was far enough away, that he wouldn't be classed as interfering in her life. ❛ i thought you'd know by now, to not play with things that aren't yours !! ❜

𝙱 ⸻ she doesn't get sick, that was a proven fact. her half demonic nature preventing her from even getting a common cold. always keeping her in peak condition even without food or water. but that morning, it was like her body forgot that little detail, and she woke up feeling completely out of sorts. more then she usually was. at first she'd shrugged it off, as just one of those days. but after stripping from her clothes and redressing over six times. and feeling like someone had quite literally turned a tap on, with how much she was sweating. she knew it was something else. but what she wasn't sure about. and despite wanting to fight through on her own, the weaker she got, the more she felt like her whole body was collapsing under her. she knew she couldn't. hence the soft, almost choked way she called chris' name. surprised he even heard her, given how soft it was spoken. [ but she should have known he'd always answer her. ]
❛ i don't know what's wrong !! ❜ she offers softly: as his hand presses to her overheated forehead. where she knows the tanned flesh is covered in a sheen of sweat. probably due to the fact he was bundled in the thickest blanket she could find. but she knew if she dropped it, she'd once more be shivering, the cold something she could feel right down to her bones. ❛ i don't get sick. well at least m'not supposed too !! ❜ god the weight of those words settled heavy in her chest. as what the fuck could be wrong, that her own body wasn't healing it. what could have her so weak, so riddled with a fever. [ in all honesty she was scared to even know the answer.. ]
