#viola stuff

I’m in for orchestra!!!

I’m getting anxious waiting for the response from the orchestra conductor. My semi-professional level friend thinks I should be fine and my recording is honestly better than what I sent in a couple of years ago when I was in this orchestra but he did say they currently have a “fine and big” viola section so what if it’s more competitive?? Ugh.

Orchestra replied!! Time to lock the fuck in with my playing so I can make a recording ahjsjhdjskkshs

Omfg my viola bestie from college just started playing yesterday for the first time in like 2 years so we’re going to be viola support buddies. It’s meant to be. My viola goal for today is to play a scale and maybe read some easier Bach violin stuff (I know I *should* do cello stuff first but I’m an adult so I do what I want and I’ll start slow lol).

I want to follow up on the orchestra thing soooooo badly but I should probably give it a full week and I sent the recording on Sunday 😭

Gjsksgd just got an email about the orchestra unrelated to my audition because I’m still on their mailing list from years ago so now my anxiety about that is spiked 😭

I really should have practiced more considering I have like a full hour to kill before dinner/videochat but I’m so restless and I don’t feel like playing what I have to play.
