I decided to take the #dustcover off the corner piece of #Couchzilla today so I could fix the leg anchors. Previously, we found a Bluenose II brochure and some old film in there, so I figured there would be more stuff. I started to pop staples and peel it away, looked in, and Cape Breton Island was staring up at me. This couch was meant to be mine. There was a 1993 map of the Maritimes, a Cape Breton tour guide, a Sault Ste Marie train tour brochure from 1986, a drink umbrella, plastic school scissors from the 1980s, a DND door hanger from many moons ago, a lingerie hoop and a little plastic person.
