Diluc’s adrenaline had been at an all time high after fighting a group of ruin guards. He hadn’t even been focusing on how many hits he took, all he was caring about was getting back to Dawn Winery before everyone wondered where he took off this time. The question had quickly drew the pyro out from his mind, quickly whipping his head around to stare at the slightly taller man. 

“What?” He questioned, checking over himself only to find a gash on his side. “Oh...” 

He hummed before nodding his head in thought, he was sure he could find the Statue of the Seven before he bled out. 

“I guess I am...

It’s not as bad as I thought...” Surely it was his pride talking.

“This... seems familiar.”

Edmond eyed a deteriorated fresco with a slight frown. An unpleasant sense of foreboding made his shoulders tense.

“I'm fairly certain, that we passed this wall a couple of times already”, he mused, as he turned back to his travel companion, “Could it be, we've been walking in circles this entire time!?”

The unease he felt at this revelation had him speak in a tone harsher than intended. Frowning slightly at his lapse in manners, he turned away once more to avoid showing shame on his features and instead opted to peer into the semi-darkness of the hallway ahead. It did indeed look like any other hallway, they've walked along so far. Additionally to the shocking revelation that they were apparently completely lost in this dilapidated ruin, Edmond couldn't quite shake the feeling of being watched.

The eerie sensation had the hairs on the back of his neck stand on edge and only the idea of appearing a paranoid fool infront of the other, had so far kept him from drawing his rapier and assuming a more battle ready posture.
