The sign belongs to one of Rye’s most prestiges hotels, Jeakes House, located in the famous and much photographed Mermaid Street. That’s a long winded way to tell you that I miss England so much. I haven’t been there since four years and besides Covid quarantines my current personal circumstances make it very hard to visit this year. But I still, I haven’t given up, yet.
