Sliske’s kind aren’t very FAMILIAR to positive emotions, anything that would come out of the Mahjarrat not being stuck to a volcanic rock would have been war stories, weapons, maybe mercenaries who don’t know how to stop. He always been the black sheep of his kin; he takes an interest in the odd inexperience of actual affections.

Except then everyone would have to listen to him going “Cheez-It, it’s the cops!” all day.

// Even though I’m not a fan of school or tournament setting (typically found in anime), I kinda wanna subvert the ‘Over Powered Transfer Student’ trope. Like, the (almost always) dude shows up at a school, has no idea what is going, goes against the most powerful student, beats their ass by whipping out a magic power out of their ass and suddenly has every hoe trying to bang him (including his little sister) and lets not forget the angst past.

Nah, want it to play along with the trope, kid shows up, kicks some ass while playing like he has no idea but it just comes naturally to him, only for it to turn out that school is actually one of the lowest schools, meaning that the kids there are actually pretty weak to begin with, him turning out to come from the higher schools and choose to transfer to the lower school so that he could have a power trip with his ‘deep dark past’ is that no one at the other place was taking his shit and he felt like loser that he is and was only mediocre about his abilities.

   The cache had been picked up several cycles prior, so he knew at minimum one of them was alive. Likely settling in on that small planet in that small city now that they had some supplies to get themselves food and accommodations.he would have to relay to the Blades that that cache had been acquired and needed replenishing for the next round of use. It wasn’t often that anything near to civilians used the caches but this was ... extenuating circumstances. 

    It wouldn’t be enough to live off of for too long though, that one prioritized rations and medical supplies over non-traceable GAC but his agent seemed very adverse to spending credits so it would likely go far enough. He only hoped they had followed instructions and gone to the junk yard and got the frequency scrambler. Signs pointed to yes, since it was not easily traced once he stopped scrambling the sensor of the area like he had promised, but what he saw and what Soldiers and sentries in the area saw could be two quite different things. 

   Even so she had said she’d check in and thus far there had been no ping. He waited only until evening of that planetary cycle and then connected to her ear set, reaching out instead as he had a spare moment in his Fleet duties. 

Wow, god, that’s a lot of garbage to have to go through. :( Do your best to take care of yourself in the meantime. I’ll prolly seek you out on Discord every once in a while to bend your ear, or you can do the same with me. ��

American Health Care at its finest, I tell you, lmao. We’re working on it. The spouse and I are trying to squirrel a side method that might...hinder my medicaid process slightly because it would legally marry us, but we would suddenly get the right break we would need to snag an insurance deal that might cover both of us for less than what he’s paying per week at his current job. 

If it works -- and it will cover my medical expenses long enough -- it’ll be worth it. So rainbows on the horizon.
