He scowls as he stares down at the invitation sitting on his desk. The 84th Annual Villy Awards? Of course, it just had to be that time of year again. Roman had been rather busy as of late, so busy in fact he hadn't realized it was almost April. In less than a month's time, Gotham's criminals would be coming together to celebrate their misdeeds and nominate one another for the outrageous things they'd done. He didn't really feel like going but appearances were important and besides, it was a good opportunity to catch up on what his rivals and peers had gotten up to lately. Downing a shot of whiskey, he snatched up a pen, responding as RSPV was due. A plus one? There were one or two in mind, if Li hadn't already gotten her own invitation.

Kirk frowns at the invitation in his hands, holding it at arm's length before pulling it closer for a more thorough inspection. 84th Annual Villy Awards? At the Hall of Doom? This didn't sound like any science convention he'd ever heard of, or anything remotely like one but the message had been addressed to him, and that he could even bring a plus one if he wanted. "This has to be a mistake..." He muttered while running a finger over the elaborate message. It wasn't as though he had anything better to do, his days as of late were quite unfulfilling between his research and little else, but who could he bring to an event he didn't even know anything about? With a resigned sigh he leaves the invitation on his desk, on top of the pile of half-filled letters and leaflets regarding research and chemical orders. Maybe if he had the time, he'd look this up and find out what this was all about since there had to be at least 83 former events.
