Doesn't matter how often you use it. Stop that "joke" dead and cold in its tracks. Pull yourself out of that rabbit hole before you fall too deep and find it impossible to crawl out.

Why?

Because there's only so many times you can repeat the same "joke" before your brain actually starts to BELIEVE it.

Replace self deprecation with self appreciation and aggrandization. I really fucking mean it. Pump up your ego.

Next time you forget you left something at home, don't say "God I'm a fucking moron how am I still breathing lmao". Instead say "Hmph of course. My memory is such a glorious powerhouse that something just had to leave to get some fresh air. Happens to all of us, even a goddess such as I."

Sure it's more wordy, and doing this can take practice (especially after years of studying and living under a system that shames you for stepping out of line or not fitting its mold and forces you to bury your pains), but this repetition WORKS! Repition can be just as much a blessing as it can be a curse, so make it a habit to boost your self image.

How's life treating you all? I haven't spoken much here in a bit, so I'll tell you what's been up lately.

Maybe it's brain fog caused by a fever I've been having recently, but have you ever felt like MENTALLY you're in a different time of year? It's October right now, but last week had me feeling like I was back in March, and it feels so... bizarre.

(Maybe 'cuz the Spring months are where diseases thrive and spread a lot lmao)

For real though, I just got tested a bit ago and I'm hoping it's just a seasonal flu of sorts and nothing serious. Feeling burnt out, sluggish, and goop brained suuuucks, especially when I just wanna draw stuff maaaan. =_=;

Ah well, with any luck this will blow over soon. October is too much of a comfort month for me to let it be spoiled by feeling unwell.
