     The last thing Xion had wanted was to upset him but apparently that was the first thing she had accomplished thus far. It was apparent in his facial features alone how just the name alone could bring such bad memories back into his mind, memories he had memorized far too well, be it he liked it or not. 

It put his little catchphrase into a darker perspective...perhaps bringing up wasn’t the best thing to do but could she be blamed for curiosity? Especially after everything the trio had gone through...

He regretted everything? id he regret bringing her back to the Organization after their fight? It was something she had always wondered. id he feel guilty for all that had happened between them? Between Roxas? The ebony haired girl looked away in turn, her head bow and a deepening frown lingering on pale pink lips. 

“I-...I’m sorry Lea, I didn’t mean to upset you.” Xion whispered timidly, flinching at his words as if stung by the emotion that backed them.

“B-But I’m glad we could make your life less miserable if that counts.” The girl murmured up to him, huddling close to his side, if only to bring him some sort of comfort like his presence did her. “You and Roxas were the best thing in my life too. You-...You still arm.” She confessed softly, her words sincere and gentle.

   Did he show that something was wrong this time? He was staring out in space with his arms crossed and a saddened expression. He felt closed off. Maybe Sora picked up on how different it was from his old self. Not that Sora knew his real ‘ old self ’ .

   His arms dropped to his side and Lea made an effort to make his expression more neutral. “There’s… nothing wrong. Just overthinking is all. Don’t worry yourself about it.”      /   @viii-dancing-flames

          say   what   you’ll   say   about   sora   --   but   he   knew   people.   maybe   it   was   his   high   use   of   empathy   ?   maybe   it   was   just   his   connection   to   the   heart’s   that   surrounded   him   like   a   royal   guard.   who   knew   ?   not   sora,   that   was   for   sure.  

          that   didn’t   stop   him   from   taking   advantage   of   that   skill   when   he   noted   the   other’s   lowered   mood.   his   lips   press   together   a   bit,   and   he   huffs   through   his   nose.  

          moving   to   sit   by   the   other,   he   pulls   his   knees   up   to   his   chest.   head   leans   against   them,   and   looks   toward   the   other.   sapphire   watches   the   other’s   features,   as   if   to   pry   away   the   truth   and   absorb   it,   take   that   pain   and   hold   it   with   him.

          his   fingers   drum,   his   natural   energetic   self-showing   through   even   with   him   trying   to   restrain   that   manner.

♟Xion didn’t blame Axel- Lea for forgetting her. After all, it had been her choice to be erased from everyone’s memories. Otherwise they wouldn’t be here today, able to live out their lives peacefully. She had been sitting down, reading when she felt a hand mess up her hair. An undignified noise of protest escaping her as she managed to hit hand away, a smile gracing her lips as she looked up at him with a huff.

“Really? Dad jokes? Glad to see some things never change.”

Keeping a journal was a part of my routine while in the Organization and since since Sora and I were separated again..I've found its a good habit to keep. Something changed after we were separated though...I feel different. Maybe its because now I know what the real thing ia like or because my memories are a little jumbled.

Regardless, I've learned that...i really don't like seeing my reflection. Granted, I don't think I was exactly vain before..but I just...I can't stop looking and seeing Ventus or Sora. I've got nothing against either of them...but at the same time, I feel like now I am an imitation.

Whatever. I'm gonna head to Sunset Library..

Lea's hugs were always warm, comforting and a competitor to Xion's at being the best. That's how Roxas felt at least. He always needed them, even on days where he wouldn't admit it.

12. Favorite thing to learn about?

My curiosity extends to just about every subject. But, one subject I get particularly passionate about is language and dialects. I love learning how other languages work, different dialects depending on region and culture, accents, syntax, and just about everything. It’s why I want to be fluent in as many as I can be someday. They are just so cool.

Spanish and Italian were easier for me to learn because they’re more phonetic, and their rules make sense to me. French was harder because it is not phonetic, and some of the rules bugged the heck out of me. Out of all of them, Italian was my favorite to learn not just for phonetics, but because it flowed so beautifully. It has a rhythm to it that makes my music-loving heart happy. 

14. Favorite Candy?

A few years ago, my mother-in-law made the mistake of taking me to a See’s Candies store. If you have never been to one, know this: they let you sample stuff. I was in heaven. Their stuff is so good. I am especially fond of their truffles. Their key lime truffles are outstanding, and one of my favorites next to their raspberry one.
