13. Comfort game?

Ah, there’s a lot of those. A lot of NES games do it for me, even if they’re on the harder side. The original Zelda and Punch-Out, and the Mario Trilogy... Most of the black box games...  And then there’s more casual games like pokemon and animal crossing.  The original Banjo Kazooie is a comfort game until I reach Rusty Bucket Bay lmao.

24. Favorite characters from a game?

I think I mentioned Gruntilda from Banjo Kazooie once, she seems like an ordinary fairy tale witch at first glance, but she turns out to be pretty hilarious with her rhyming insults, her obsession with tacky quiz shows, and she clearly has a lot more going on if you look into some of the levels of the games, especially Tooie. She’s an established business owner dabbling in oil, unsanitary and unsafe amusement parks, and hazardous fully staffed factories. Something about that amuses me.  Also she’s never the same when she comes back, being a generic witch at first, then a skeleton, a ghost inside a robot, and then a disembodied head in a jar atop a zombie body.  And even when she’s forced to cease her rhyming in Tooie, she’s still one of the more amusing  characters. She’s no stereotypical witch.  By the second game, she’s driving a giant tank with a drill on the front instead of riding a broom.  She is my favorite video game villain of all time and one of my favorite video game characters of all time.

This blog even used to have grunty themed quiz shows but I lost access to photo shop and the rhymes were so tough to come up with.

yellow: name of an artist you think is underappreciated

Oh 1000% The B52's. They were a group of queer artists from Georgia in the 70's. They wrote incredibly catchy songs, Fred Schneiders speak/singing is iconic, Ricky Wilsons guitar tuning and use of 4 strings was mind blowing to me, a good number of their songs spoke on political issues, i mean they were/are phenomenal. THE BEEHIVE WIGS!!!!

aqua: do you thrift?

Haha so 80%ish of my clothes are all thrifted. I LOOOVE going thrift store shopping because i grew up broke so it was a necessity, but as i got older, i realized it was not only more beneficial to the earth but they have such an incredible selection that theres no way you wont leave looking unique and incredible.

emerald: if you had the option, would you choose to move and live in another country? which one?

Haha part of me says yes, id love to either move to Mexico to be closer to a lot more family and more opportunities, or Ireland because i think id be happier with the weather there. But the other part of me wants to stay in LA. Its a shithole, but its my shithole and id rather try and help fix it than just let the place that gave me an absurd amount of incredible memories and experiences get worse.

mauve: any unpopular opinions?

Idk if its unpopular but people dont need to prove their worth to just.......exist. There was a post I saw not that long ago about how in some Native American tribes, they believe that we are here on earth for the same reason as the trees and the sky and everything around us. To just....be! We shouldnt have to justify our existence through labor or through being productive, and we beat ourselves up over those things and for what?!?! But idk 🤷‍♂️ i wish for all my friends and loved ones to be laying around with people who love them, enjoying incredible food, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams and hobbies.

Kind 😊 haha i laugh but it honestly comes down to that. Nobody is perfect and we all come with our own baggage but if youre working on yourself and youre kind, then im all for it. Thats the biggest thing i look for lol
