~~ My lil country girl ~~ #victorypost 💕 So Mia has been exclusively breastfed since birth. I mean she wouldn’t even take a bottle or a pacifier EVER in her life. I only planned to nurse her for a year, but when it came time to start weaning, it felt impossible. A couple months ago I began to slowly and gently wean her and it seemed to be working great. 💕 Then she got sick. So naturally I nursed her around the clock. Which definitely caused her to completely regress. Once she wasn’t sick anymore I tried to slowly wean her again. And that girl knew EXACTLY what I was doing. It did notttt work lol. 💕 But she’s definitely getting too old for it. She literally started to point to a pillow and tell me to lay down and asked for “boob” hahaha. So with the help of @kyliedesirea I managed to quit cold turkey. And it really wasn’t even that difficult or that heartbreaking. She threw a few tantrums but they didn’t last long at all. 💕 Unfortunately I had no idea that I would have a few pretty wicked side effects from quitting, especially so abruptly. I got pretty sick yesterday and the day before, but hey it’s all temporary. 💕 But anyway here we are 6 days later and I’m still blown away that we’re done! (Although I definitely miss some of the closeness 😭) I’m so proud of this little munchkin!!!! I love dis Bebe!!!! 💕 PS I told kris I was worried she wouldn’t need me anymore when she was done, but she loves me as much as ever 😍 (at Cabela's)
