An update on my Mom, my why. . Mom had her final radiation treatment today for her fourth bout of lung cancer. She has fluid in her lungs and coughing pretty hard. The doctor has prescribed walking so the fluid doesn’t turn into pneumonia and cough syrup with codeine so she can rest at night. . So my mighty prayer warriors, love senders and thought healers, lift Judy Jones’ name on high. . Unless something arises and needs attention we won’t have any answers until October when she will have another CT Scan. . This picture was taken about two years ago. I just love that she used chip bag clips while left alone to make pig tails 😂 I see in her childlike silliness and curiosity that was never present until just a few years ago. Instead, fear and shame dominated her existence, holding her captive most of her life. Alcohol was how she sought freedom from the torment. . She’s still silly and very much childlike (inappropriate at times 😬) due to her Alzheimer’s, but I’ll take that over her being stressed, worried, and fearful. My heart couldn’t take that! .
