So foxesonstilts tagged me in a thing to make me write 15 things that make me happy. I usually don't really do things like this, but since there is never enough happiness in the world... Fair warning though, most of them are quite mundane!
1. Curling up on the couch with a good book, a blanket, and a peppermint hot chocolate.
2. Watching my favourite shows and/or movies (Supernatural, I'm looking at you)
3. Good, cheesy, fluffy fanfiction. Mostly Destiel. University AUs and teacher AUs are my drugs.
4. Anything Sherlock Holmes related. Going to see the London Museum exhibit next week and am beyond excited.
5. Pizza.
6. My cat.
7. Pieter. Especially when he brings me good food or tries everything he can to help me sleep at night.
8. Good food. Cooking it and eating it. If I were rich I'd try out every restaurant in town, go out for dinner 3 times a week, and spend the rest of the week trying different recipes. Mostly love baking.
9. Listening to music late at night, in bed, when everything's quiet.
10. My friends. I don't have a lot of close friends but I love the ones I have with all my heart. They always manage to cheer me up and deal with my insecurities without complaining. Don't know what I'd do without them.
11. My dad. So I'm a huge daddy's girl and we've been through a lot together. Since I moved out of the house I get a hug every time I visit and he always cooks my favourite food.Â
12. A clean, tidy apartment. When there's chaos in the house, there's chaos in my head and I'm much more relaxed when everything is neat (even though it rarely is). When it is, I run around for two days exclaiming how happy I am that everything is clean....
13. My (comic) book collection. Love going to the comic book store and chatting with the people there too.
14. Pretty dresses. For someone who is not very girly at all I love me some dresses.
15. Traveling. I really love going to new places, taste new foods, learn about new cultures. If only it wasn't so expensive! But I also love just sitting on the train with a cup of tea and a book and staring out the window.
