Got a letter from VicRoads today saying that they've been told that I have bought my car from myself and therefore need to pay for the registration transfer fees to transfer the registration from myself to myself.
VicRoads, you stupid fuck. What mischief have you wrought?!
Went and looked back through the many emails VicRoads sent me when I bought the car:
27/10 - bought the car + paid the transfer fees
28/10 @ 1 am - the registration has been transferred to my name, and this transfer has already been paid for
28/10 @ 8:48 am - the registration has been transferred out of my name
28/10 @ 8:48 am - the registration has been transferred back into my name, and this transfer has not been paid for
14/11 @ 10:41 pm - the registration has been transferred into my name (a third time!), and this transfer has already been paid for.
And now this letter dated 21/11: "it has not been paid for please pay the transfer fee"
I got my green P Plate!!!!
