Can genoids who are able to regenerate use the removed organs to sell? Or are they too incompatible with humans? Or are they sellable, but at a cheaper price since they have risks but people desperate for transplants will still buy them if they have to? This might've been answered before but I'm very curious
Great question!
Genoids are each genetically distinct enough to basically each be the only sole member of their own unique species. Most doctors refuse to treat them at all because of how variable their anatomy is. Even organs that look nearly identical to regular human organs can be totally different/not compatible with regular humans. For example:
So (while that could be a good scheme, if it worked) genoids are not able to donate organs. They can't even donate blood. A genoid-to-human organ transplant would probably keep the patient alive for a week to a month, but it's almost guaranteed to eventually fail.
This likewise creates complications for genoids who need organ transplants themselves. They have to be bespoke, personally cloned, and most don't have the money for that. They'd also need to find a specialty genoid clinic to preform the operation, usually involving a combined team of doctors and veterinarians.
stop abusing parentheses, no on deserves the cruel treatment you are putting on them
I try not to (not really, I gave up ages ago) and I've experimented with other forms of punctuation that can convey asides and minor interjections or notes but nothing seems as undisruptive (or shrug-like) as parentheses.
its good to see someone else who's an ex-king in yellow cult member :D

Ah, so I see that you were in one of the cults once too.
I am… very glad to be out of it, and I’m glad you were able to leave as well :).

it is somewhat disorienting to think that all of that was so long ago.
it’s over now.
and yet…
I don’t think it will ever truly end.
