The Iron Lung itself is alive and changes. The details are small and slow to come, but when you notice it, you can't stop noticing. The blood changes you, stains you long after you already cleaned the spray off your face, it cuts into you from a mere drip. It wants to consume you now, and you don't ever have to see the monster outside the walls, and neither does it have to see you; it will get you. It already got a taste of you, and you taste a lot like it.

Fuck, I love that.

2: I love this movie. I wanted to watch it again the moment I sat in the car to leave the theater. I can understand the people who don't like it but at the same time don't. It fits the genre so well, it achieves what you can tell the creator was going for, and that's something I can't criticize. I am the target audience. It's a perfect movie to me, and I can never agree with the bad reviews the more the movie settles with me. I have never felt more catered to as an audience member than I did watching this movie.
