Killing people who do not like, and other benefits of creative writing
Stress in everyday life creates all kinds of moments in which any sane person would think briefly, I want to kill that boy! This is normal, and so the momentary fantasy that usually follows. But, being a sane, rational, you probably have stifled those fantasies somewhere in the middle, tucking away those dirty thoughts in your brain under the label "do not go there." Stop it, because you are stifling the best source of material for creative writing. Yes friends, it's time to tear that old label and go down there, that horrible horrible place where everyone dies, usually only for the crime of being too stupid. Here, excels in creative writing to relieve stress. After all, your hobby, you can kill anyone who has ever pissed, and feel zero guilt the next day. He made the looting of food forget the Doritos? Kill him. Maybe your boss says something to drive you crazy? Make him eat his pen. Or maybe one of your colleagues thought he was someone else to eat for lunch, as well as yours? Poison him with lunch following. Her husband leaves the toilet seat again? Glue the seat and behead him with a chainsaw. Kill them. Kill them all ... keyboard. This on your type of exercise in creative writing is one with many benefits. First of all, you can apply this skill to write mystery, noir, horror, or even taking care of the details of a death in the mainstream narrative. The trick is to decide which details of a crime scene that you want to focus. If you are only going to describe the violence and death, or perhaps you want to create the atmosphere and the first scene? The level of detail is part of the scene determines the type of story you end up with. If you focus only on the act, and you make the brutal act, or that the horror of crime. If you give a lot of detail, but without being cruel, which is crime fiction and mysteries. And if you violate the description of the scene and the characters, but then say a few sentences about your murder mystery that is mainstream. As and you will see, there is no space to play with these definitions, and I'm leaving out many kinds where people die much like science fiction and fantasy. But this is yet another reason for killing people in fiction is so rewarding. There are many ways to kill people, and there are so many variations on the same topic that you can play with this exercise in a creative writing all my life and I never tire of it. As in fiction, you can kill the cop who gave you a ticket last week ... with a lightsaber. How cool is that? (Sure, you could just tell them: "You do not see me speeding." But this is not the Sith way, is not it? Come to the dark side, a dark little touch of the Sith .... Touch! Ahem ... I digress.) In your first writing exercises, you may be tempted to do everything, but I'd advise that you focus on specific objectives. Focus on the death of this exercise, and do not try to build too much texture in the scene. There must be a rhyme or reason for death. You're just killing someone you angry. This is the reason for the scene, and there must be something else. For example, you can kill the looter of suffocating him with a plastic bag. the checkout counter that you got the sack, or describe the reactions of other people describe. Keep in mind, it is a fantasy. He does not need to be realistic, so if the other buyers good start, because they have lost the objects, fine. You can focus on the law itself, and try to describe how a human face appears beneath a layer of white plastic wrinkled. The bag has the tag of the store? Or the slogan? Is the slogan in the mouth to control, or out of their forehead? And what has been struggling with the spelling you, while he was suffocating? I have chills yet? And no, this is not a plastic bag in his pocket. I am very happy to see you, really.Every time you sit down to kill someone, think of them that describe well. I do not mean a description like this: Tom was a big, fat, stupid idiot, we ate at a lot of other people work. That 's great (and poetic kinda), and the phrase does not sum up the point in history quickly. But what Tom looks like? Show your readers something invisible, describing your target, and try to be objective. You're going to kill the jerk in time, then let your narrator to be neutral about Tom's appearance. Admitting that his eyes are beautiful, and then take them out with a spoon and microwave them. Or ... You can also go with poisoning him. I'm just pulling ideas out there, so you can experiment if you like. Smashing your head in the vending machine would be very bloody, though, is not it? Hmmm ... Well, it is food for thought, no? Let's talk about your boss. Oh, you know you want to talk about your boss. Do you want to lock them up in the middle of one of their invectives. We want to take the fountain pen invented what they are too stupid to use and drive right through the open mouth. Writing all in exquisitely gory detail, and save it for later. You do not need to get a whole novel of a death, or even a complete page. A few paragraphs will do well in most cases. There is no need to have every death scene makes perfect sense. Over a bit 'mental masturbation, this creative writing assignment is to define all the most important elements of writing in a burst of brutal honesty. Mood, scene, character, action and dialogue must all flow together with a balance between each element. The more often you practice killing people, the more often you start to think in terms of how you want to stage the crime, instead of the crime or the person himself. Soon, you'll be able to kill people as a mental exercise, and will not be short cut in half. When you cut off some guy on the street, you may think, Hey, screw you, man. I'll kill you tonight. On a final note, remember to save all your efforts for later. This might seem like a bad idea, given that these writings will make you look foolish. But you can always return to the previous study samples of your work to find ideas for your latest stories. There is no crime committed by plagiarize your older unpublished works. Just do not start killing people based on what you wrote. In addition Please. In to give you a source of useful ideas, these older works are landmarks that can be studied much later in his writing career or hobby. As you progress to higher levels of competence, there are more and more errors jump out at you in your writing samples older. This will also want to throw them away stronger, but resist, and keep your bad stuff. Again let me remind you that you can write crap, just like everyone else. You will also be able to see what mistakes are to be with you, allowing you to more effectively address your weak areas in the future stories. That 'it's happy for the person to kill people. Tune in for my next guide, when I explain what to do once you have a large bin full of dead colleagues and neighbors who did not return your garden tools in time.

Subculture of Latino music in the former Soviet Union
For me, Latin music has been my life since I was six. When my mother remarried a man from Nicaragua, which was exposed to a different side of the world. There were many things I never knew about, but now they added. It is for this reason I tend to notice where and how many people are listening to Latin music, particularly in the context of the music of his own home. I decided to find out how much of this music has been integrated into the typical life of a student at FSU in Tallahassee, within a group of friends. This music defines Latin culture through sound, behavior, and concept. For starters, I had to ask my friends what they hear. The group that I am focusing on containing seven members. Of those seven, five are Latino and two are "white", I, Sarva, I'm half French, half the offspring of the British Isles, and the other "white" person, Evan, is the descent of y. The other five are (Carlos), (Daniel), (Andrea), (Leslie), and (Tony). I have found through interviews that all Latino members of our group heard the music of his homeland, at least once a week. That means that once a week, which connects back to its cultural identity through music. When I asked Evan if you listen to music or said no. "It's not because I do not like it," he said. "It just has never been part of my life the way it has been for my girlfriend." Evan and Andrea have been dating for three months, as Carlos and I have been dating for about three years. I think that things are running in the house of Carlos are different from the way they run in the family home of my mother's mother. At home, his father is the "alpha male", and everyone else in the house belongs to him. The concept of head of household is very important. His father is a stern man who demands respect, but is noticeably affectionate with their younger children. There is always music and laughter and the kitchen at home. In the homes of my mother's sisters and their parents, there is a different order of things. My grandfather and grandmother were equal, and if the decision had to do that would be agreed by both. As a result, each has less respect and there was a higher rate of "answer" and "smart-ass" in the house of Carlos. At home, music was played a few times and saved for times like Christmas. Television was always, however. Evan had similar experiences in their family. I wondered if all Hispanic households are like this, so I asked my friends how things work at home. They all gave the same description as Carlos. I wondered how I had to do with music being played. I asked each of them about why music was important to them. Leslie summed up the general feeling better, "not so much the music itself, but what it represents. When his family is the kitchen and singing and dancing together, it reminds them of where they came from and gives a sense of solidarity. When you have music, have a connection to your past and to each other. That's what it is, the concept, not the thing itself "This makes perfect sense to me .. There had to be some link between family members, and music became such a link. I wondered what the difference between the junction of the typical Latino family and the bond between the members of the "white" family. Evan asked how his family bonded. "We all sit together at dinner, but not much conversation there, other than" How was your day? 'In general, they tend to watch TV together so we can all laugh at the same things. Other than that, leading a life quite independent. That does not mean that they love, just not as close. "It seemed like the difference is clear. In each of our homes as they were growing up, there was music in some and not others. Music as a concept missing from the house of Evan, and my mother as a child. The concepts of unity, of family, respect and inheritance had disappeared because the music was not present. All this was very interesting to me. I wanted to know how each of them had brought their music with them. Tony and Carlos are both musicians. Tony Carlos creates rhythms and acoustic melodies created. I asked if and how to incorporate their heritage into their music. Tony said: "When I make beats, I try to be as creative as possible. I do not like using canned sounds. In the past I used clips from Star Wars, old movies and songs, and recordings of my mother screaming. Recently I started using fragments of the recordings of my father in my old guitar beats. I like them because they sound hits one more ... 'Home'? I do not know, I like my beats to sound like I enter and what they represent. If my beats sound fresh, reflecting my being cool. If you have sound, then it is perfect, because I'm from. "Carlos said," Well, I play many instruments, so that makes it really easy to do exactly what I want. I play piano, guitar, bass, violin, some Chinese string instruments, and some drums. I have a synthesizer. "" So that incorporate sounds into your music? "I pregunté." Yes, all the time! My uncle taught me a lot of traditional songs from Ecuador when I was little, so I like to play traditional songs from a nontraditional way. For example, I have established a track the other day that was a traditional Ecuadorian song, but I played with Chinese instruments, adding piano. There are a variety of things I can do to make different sounds with a certain base, in this case the music of my country. "It was interesting to me. FSU students brought their music from their homes in Tallahassee with them in such a way that allows innovation and creativity. For a different twist on this idea, I asked Daniel and Andrea how to use music in their lives to connect to the idea of the house of Daniel and tradition. "I do not play anything, but I have a large music collection. My brother and my mom both play guitar, so my sister, my dad and I always sit and listen to them. I have a horrible voice, but always sang right along anyway. I was born, but moved to Florida when I was in sixth grade. My mother was always crying and crying, so my brother taught him to play the [guitar]. Since then he always felt better because I had a way to connect with her home again. I guess that way I can find the connection, too. I always play my music from my childhood in Colombia, especially when I first got here. It made me feel less homesick "Andrea". When I first came to Tallahassee, I hated it. I immediately wanted to move [to Miami], where a greater diversity. Well, not really diversity, but more Latinos and Peruvian. I missed it so much that I formed a small "party" a weekend. I called my Hispanic friends, some who play instruments, others are cooked, and we all get together and talk about what I missed the most. I know it sounds like I would lose more, but it was very comforting. I had found a piece of the way of "Hicktown." Now we do once a month and all are welcome. You do not have to be Hispanic to come, either. Not even have to contribute. Just come and see why it is so great that a Peruvian! "Finally, I met a lot of different ways that Latin music is the sound itself, the behavior of the culture and concepts linked to that culture, has made its way to Tallahassee. There is a subculture within a short ex-USSR, and I think only time can extend the music and the ideas are still as important to Latinos as they do now and in the past.
