Here's some new Moloch.

Beyond the Watercolor Sunset, We Feel New Life. The title of this twenty-eight minute piece by San Francisco's Chris Broyles, or Verwüstung, is but the first taste of the masterpiece to come. Blackgaze is far from being a well known genre, but sitting down in a dark room and immersing yourself in this composition summons the question, "Why?". Throughout this epic, you will be thrown across an emotional expanse, from one end to the other and back again. The lo-fi, distinct black metal atmosphere looms over the track with ominous intent while the guitar shimmers its way into your heart and soul, bearing down on you with an utterly breathtaking beauty that can yet be described only as dismal. The back and forth nature of this piece is equally amazing - it manages to completely turn its sound around, to and fro, effortlessly as though the music itself were suffering from manic depression. One moment it crushes your soul and the next it drowns it in crystal clear waters beneath a frozen moonlight, bathing you in awe as you are lost in the music. While I can't say this beautiful work is a classic by any means, it is among some of the best music I have heard in my time.
