About Us

Versmissen was founded in 1970 and initially started as a wholesaler for European antiques. Within a short period of time Versmissen became an important player in this field of expertise and the success created possibilities to extend our business. Over the past 40 years we have developed a distinctive and exclusive style in European and Oriental antique furniture, reproduction antiques, own designs inspired by antique and vintage styles, industrial furniture and lighting, crystal chandeliers and other lighting fixtures, seating furniture in wood, leather and fabric, antique fencing and doors, building materials, bronze and stone statues and an exciting range of decorative items.

For both hospitality (i.e. bar/restaurant/hotel) and furniture businesses we offer complete bars, an extensive range of furniture, original decorative items, objet d’art and custom made furniture.

As a family business, we personally import from Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. This way we are able to offer a wide variety of furniture and decorational items from stock, all selected and approved by ourselves!

In recent years we have been very active in developing new styles and collections. The items have a distinctive, renewing character and are produced exclusively for Versmissen in factories with whom we have a very long relationship. This guarantees our high quality standards and exclusivity.

The inspiration for our new collections comes from our feeling that there is a growing amount of people who want to combine multiple styles and cultures in one interior. This eclectic effect is the result of the globalisation of cultures, caused by extensive traveling, internet, new social media, etc. People want to combine a contemporary design with ethnic styles, a decorative item discovered on a faraway holiday with an inherited piece of furniture from the elderly or grandparents home and so on. Nowadays interiors are a reflection of our personality, showing our interests, experiences and background. We, as Versmissen Furniture & Decoration, hope to offer you all the possibilities to fulfil these needs from your customers.

If you would like to see our collection in person, you can visit our large showroom (15.000 m²) in the Netherlands or you can find us at one of the tradeshows. Our warehouse is located only 10 minutes from Eindhoven Airport and 90 minutes from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. If you would like to visit our warehouse we can pick you up, bring you back and even arrange your hotel to make your stay both effective and pleasant.
