The daughter of the Russian mafioso (who was truthfully trying to steal his crown after every attempt to push her out and her brother' Vitya's repeated issues as her father's first choice) had been in over her head as of late truthfully. Everything back home in St. Petersburg had been near hellish. Way too much even for someone like her ultimately. Granted trying to pull the rug out from under her ridiculous father after everything was a job in itself. She'd gone out of town to handle some of the business she claimed was for her father, but was really about herself of course, and following her business endeavors had managed to escape to Turkey claiming she was taking a few days away for a trip by herself after handling business.

She of course was merely going to see Serkan naturally. Which was exactly how she'd ended up surprising him using her key to go and sneak into his place, of course granted who he was, he noticed almost immediately. "Hey hey," she muttered something quietly in Russian then stopping his hand then. "It's fine, it's okay. No need. It's just me. I know, I should have called but I needed to see you."

New York born 27 year old Courtney Hunter just so happened to be in Los Angeles that weekend for a figure skating competition. She'd been trying to get to the arena early hence her rushing. You could never be too prepared for a competition and for a woman who worked and competed for a living (with a hope to get into the Olympics eventually), this was important of course. Except that she hadn't planned on her leaving ninety minutes earlier only to accidentally hit this guy's car. So of course this was not going the way she'd planned. Not even slightly. So she'd ended up getting out of her car dressed and under the umbrella given the momentary rain leaving the rest of her things in her car naturally. She'd gone over to his car then. She couldn't believe she'd gotten into this situation. She was usually so naturally over careful and yet here she was.

Finally someone who understood. The 25 year old almost teacher stared back at him as they were eventually alone in the room after her father had finally left going to tend to a matter in his branch of the Italian mafia. "No one ever says things like that to me..." Daniella muttered very quietly almost surprised he'd had the nerve to actually admit the difference between their genders and positions in this life given who they were. "Everyone else in the world over here just thinks I'm some sort of little precious mafia princess." She rolled her eyes. She rested her hands in her lap then trying to get further comfortable on the couch. She supposed if she was being pushed into a marriage, it could definitely be worse off than to someone who actually seemed to understand her struggle as a woman with all this. Especially considering her life and how it had gone with being pulled back into everything by her father years ago, right back into him and his world in Italy.

Harley and Emilio's relationship, && marriage, had been in a bit of a state all things considered as of late. So tonight he'd asked her to go out to dinner with him, their first real date night in who knows how long, while his mother had the baby. She'd happily agreed wanting to get back to how they had been and she missed her husband. So she had gone out of her way to get a new dress for tonight and gotten ready. So by the time he'd gotten home, she had just finished getting into the dress and getting ready otherwise which he'd soon see when he came upstairs to their master bedroom where she was zipping up the dress as she stood in front of the mirror. "Darling," she managed gently. "You're home early. I didn't think you'd be back quite yet."

"So you know how we agreed on not knowing what the baby is?" his wife managed before taking another sip of tea. "I've been thinking about it for days now since that appointment and..." Harley set the mug down onto the counter before resting a hand on her growing bump then. "And I feel like maybe that was the wrong choice." She glanced back at her husband hand still resting on her stomach. "I don't know how I'm supposed to figure out a nursery for the kid if I don't know so...I may or may not have found the envelope the doctor gave me at our sonogram last week." She nudged the envelope towards him on the counter with her free hand. "But if you really don't want to know still, I guess I can open it myself instead."

It had been the morning after their dinner date gone wrong given her so-called stomach bug, which had turned out not to be a stomach bug at all given what the doctor had told her, and what she had confirmed while Emilio had been asleep. That brought them to now and the former PI had finished setting both trays of their breakfast room service on the table then. "Food's here, you want to sit down?
