Godwyn does not wish to be a pawn so easily sacrificed to the Joining. Even though he survives, the fact that his lifespan now has an expected, premature end forever creates a rift between him and his mother. The Wardens have always been secretive of their Joining ritual and neither Marika nor Godwyn could have anticipated the risk.

But now, Godwyn is Tainted, the very Blight that Marika loves in his veins. What he does with it is up to him.

Godwyn is a warrior class Grey Warden, subclassing as a Champion.

He's ~30 years old, by the time of 9:41.

For DAO, he can be found in Vigil's Keep as an undercover informant for the Mother; when the Mother began collecting refugees of the Blight, Marika's cult naturally followed. He does not wish to belong to either anymore, and works with the Wardens to fight back the darkspawn.

For DAI, he can be recruited after the events of Adamant. He willingly volunteers to help the Inquisitor investigate the extent of this false Blight and Corypheus' involvement, knowing his mother's cult will be treading the fringes.

main verse - 1997 : kate is 21, living in los angeles, happily living it up in college. open verse. flashback verse - 1994 : takes place up to the end of 94, before bread slicing. open verse. modern au - reboot : kate's living in los angeles, having popped off on tiktok/streaming. she's dropped out of school and is focusing on cultivating her brand. and yeah, she still deals. open verse. siren au - nevermore : kate's a siren going to nevermore academy. open verse. modern au 2.0 - mt. misery : private verse.

MEI CHANG

HIKARI “DAWN” CORONG leaves on her pokemon journey in march of her 12th year, just before she turns 13 years old. the last of her friends to choose a starter from professor Rowan, Hikari selects PIPLUP, quickly naming him PIP. Hikari Corong is the daughter of Natsume “JOHANNA’’ Corong, a former contest star who fell from glory after the revelation that she and her husband, Hikari’s father--FERDINAND Corong, were running illegal gambling rings around the Sinnoh contest scene, with Johanna throwing contests when the odds were too high in her favor. 

A POKEMON JOURNEY is the only way Hikari sees out of the entropy surrounding her family, with a now-dead father who fell into potentially AUXILIARY TEAM ROCKET connected crime after his bookkeeping was busted one too many times, and a brother who turned to odd jobs for organized crime syndicates after the death of their father and found himself incarcerated. Hikari roams the Sinnoh region, training her team and focusing on becoming strong. 

During the course of her journey, Hikari meets the following important characters in canon: CYNTHIA, LOOKER, VOLKNER, ALL SINNOH GYM LEADERS, RILEY, CHERYL, MARLEY, CYRUS, AND TEAM GALACTIC. Cynthia and Volkner are of particular importance because of their roles as mentors to Hikari. Cynthia’s expertise in ancient myths and well-roundedness as a trainer makes Cynthia serve as Hikari’s primary rolemodel: Volkner’s battle style and creative approach to training pokemon makes Volkner serve as her primary coach. 

A DEFINING MOMENT OF HIKARI’S LIFE OCCURS IN THE INGAME TIMELINE. During the final confrontation with Team Galactic at the SPEAR PILLAR, Hikari finds herself, her childhood friend Lucas, and her mentor Cynthia pulled into a pursuit of CYRUS through a DISTORTION WORLD GATE opened by the powerful, demon-like pokemon: GIRATINA. Time does not flow properly in the distortion world. Lucas, Cynthia, and Hikari were missing for four weeks, but the flow of time to them felt like mere hours. 

Hikari challenged CYRUS in a warp of time, space, and perception: if still alive, Cyrus could probably not recall if he battled Lucas, Hikari, or both children. However, Lucas challenged GIRATINA shortly after facing Cyrus, leaving Hikari’s childhood friend and his team gravely injured. Hikari challenged a weakened Giratina herself, and knocked out the worm dragon, catapulting her, her friend, and her mentor back into reality. 

    She still struggles today with time perception. 

                                            ... time does not flow right for Hikari Corong, and demons from the circles of the distortion world haunt her constantly. But that’s okay, for now: she’s never been afraid of the dark. 

VERSE. dream daddy.

from a young age, allen walker has seen the monsters.  she’s not ever sure what they were, but she could see them, wrapped around other people’s souls.  her father had one.  she had one.  EVERYBODY HAD A MONSTER IN THEIR SOUL.  hers was a wrathful thing, and it only ever went silent once her father dumped her on the doorstep of cross marian and vanished.

and allen lived life seeing these monsters.  left unable to fight them, due to a missing arm, and a hole in her heart, and later, a thick pair of glasses, allen would have come to accept that life, of seeing, and not knowing why.

then one day, after a street fight she stupidly got engaged in, she felt lighter, and a quick glance at her reflection told her one thing--the monster inside her, and the monster inside the other person were gone, and she had no reason as to why.

so she’s taken to punching them out of people.  normally, it’s low-level thugs, people whose internal monsters make them do horrible things that a disabled sixteen year old has the power to stop.

                                    VERSE UPDATE  :  THE WALKING DEAD

     [  alright !  i have officially edited my walking dead verse, and am very excited to use it.  i’m putting the verse info here as well, under a cut, if you don’t feel like venturing to my carrd  ] 

follows the events of season 4, though we can all easily assume dolores has been getting into problems on purpose since the beginning of the show.

dolores is relatively known in hawkins for being a little too involved with conspiracy theories, getting into people’s business, and being relatively unhinged. though deemed at a hermit, she’s usually just at home watching horror movies or trying to figure out local mysteries for fun. she doesn’t go out much, and is pretty much only seen out of her house when she’s at work or following people around for answers.

dolores isn’t totally convinced that the string of murders are at the hands of anyone being framed so far, and decides to delve into it. she sneaks around town, casually breaking & entering to investigate the crime scenes herself, or she just questions people herself. she gets caught breaking into the police station looking for evidence at some point, but manages to get out of it by saying my dad was the deputy and will be so upset about this. 

dolores has been following the so-called curse from the beginning and has definitely uncovered way too much shit. like, somehow she hasn’t been assassinated yet. 

at some point, d winds up in the upside down through a portal at one of the crime scenes and manages to claw her way back out. literally has no idea what the fuck is going on at this point.
