there is something to be said when you feel like you just don’t fit. when you’re having one of those days that you just need for yourself to breathe. a part of me always feels guilty for when I feel this way. But I shouldn’t. no one should. torn between the guilt and wanting to power through and having no idea what the answer is.

Here's to the girls who have grown up being "raised" by a teenage mother. It's not easy and it's never going to be. You go back and forth confusing if she's your best friend or if you actually came out of her. As i'm getting older, it's getting easier to accept the fact that our relationship is never going to be perfect. Deep down I know she would've raised me differently. But in reality I do believe that everything happens for a reason. It's made me a stronger woman because of it. So ladies, give your mom a hug, and remember she's been through a lot and things worth having take time, especially a growing bond with your mom.
