i think the issue is naoko didn’t really elaborate on how much time had passed and didn’t give them depth, and that just translated across SM mediums. I’ve always assumed some sort of semi-acceptable time passed between their first interaction and when the silver millennium fell. kinda like how naoko doesn’t know who tf cosmos is lol
