So it's been a busy month for me. I received my Cosmo Vox Box about a month ago but I wanted to test the products and give you an honest review.

I received the Gillette Venus Embrace handle and razor complimentary from Influenster. They also gave me the Gillette Venus & Olay razor, which I haven't used yet. What is really cool about getting two different kind of razors is that the Venus blade refill fits any Venus razor handle. So if you realized that you ran out of razors and you need to rush to the store. You can grab any Gillette Venus Razor such as the Embrace or whatever razor is right for you without having to buy a new handle.

I have used Gillette Venus Embrace for over 5 years and it is my go to razor of choice. I always get an ultra close shave without fear of cutting myself. The five blades are designed to hug your curves, I'd say it does a great job of that. It glides right over my skin leaving me smooth and nick free.

I finally received my Cosmo VoxBox 2012 from Influenster. This is my first time receiving a VoxBox and I'm pretty excited about it. I'm really excited about all these products I get to test out. 

I received two FriXion by Pilot Pen. They are erasable gel ink pens. I go through pens quickly so I can't wait to use the FriXion gel ink pens.

I also got the Forever Red Eau de Parfume, exclusively at Bath & Body Works. It smells like pomegranate and can't wait to wear this perfume.

I received a Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Sea Salt Escape Bar. I'm going to put this in the fridge so that I can enjoy this decadent milk chocolate bar soon.

Last but not least I got the Gillette Venus Embrace handle and blade as well as the Venus & Olay Razor refill. 

I'm excited to use all these products. So look for reviews about them in the upcoming weeks.

hmmmm. thanks to influenster for these razors to sample =). always a plus to get free blades or check out the newest blades sooner rather than later.

I like the venus, I think I've had one of these babys since high school...that's like almost a decade ago! while i do find the initial cost of the blades and the replacements expensive, there are always coupons--what a good thing!

okay. i admit, i'm a traditionalist. I like the blade without all the extra stuff (mostly because sometimes im just in a rush and need a quick job. i dont like the idea of whatevers on the block to stay on my skin until the next shower). pluusss...the block is so big on the olay razor that it makes it much less maneuverable. and...(not gillettes fault) olay never worked that great for me anyways. usually it ends up drying out my skin so I'm a little biased against them.
