Hearing that Tom lost his best friend really struck a nerve with especially since I'm the one who tried to killed him
Vegerov
Marsh: There is only one thing worse than death
Marsh: *rips of paper to reveal "Vengerov's" above the word death*
Tom and Blackburn: *gasps* Vengerov
Marsh: NO

Had a surreal moment at 3:45 this morning. Dogs had to go out, The TV had been left on. This was playing. I was mesmerized and dizzy through the entire video.
Quite happy because the Beethoven orchestral masterclass with Maxim Vengerov is back on YouTube!! You can also watch it in Medici.tv which I haven’t explored enough but it’s a promising site, specially for someone who just started to listen classical music assiduously (thanks largely and almost exclusively to Maxim Vengerov) like yours truly. Why do I like to watch masterclasses if I have never played the violin? Because for some reason when it’s him I stay glued, doesn’t matter if it’s a 3 minute clip of him explaining Bach or Sibelius, a 10 minute explanation of Tambourine Chinois with full tour of imagination or a two hour masterclass correcting Ysayës, Bach or Beethoven violin concerto with full orchestra and three different soloist. And i suspect I might not be the only one who likes to watch this man, the embodiment of talent, hard work, charm and a great story teller.
