A creamy and savory dip made with ground sausage, melted Velveeta, and shredded cheddar cheese, perfect for dipping tortilla chips or your favorite snacks. This slow cooker queso dip is a crowd-pleaser for any gathering or game day party.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground sausage. 1 can 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained. 1 package 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup diced onion. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon cumin. Tortilla chips, for serving.
Instructions: Put the sausage in a pan and cook it over medium-low heat until it turns brown. Get rid of extra fat. Put the sausage in a slow cooker after it's done cooking. Put the sausage in the slow cooker with diced tomatoes, green chilies, Velveeta cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onion, garlic powder, and cumin. Make sure to stir everything together well. Cover and cook on low for two to three hours, stirring every now and then, until the cheese melts and the dip is hot all the way through. When it's done, serve it warm with tortilla chips to dip it in.
