A friend sent this pose reference in the group chat forever ago, and I started sketching immediately— although, I just recently finished it lol

Here's Velox with his freshly caught fish! Chat determined he's a big fish kinda guy, and that he owns a boat he affectionately calls "Kat's Boat." (Other suggestions were Divorced Dad Simulator, Hetero 2000, Franz Ferdinand, and For-Tuna.)

Also, I totally forgot to add liquid to his beer bottle! But I think he's just trying not to litter, so he's holding on to it! He's a good man who cares about the environment!

Most species when they have a race will have them in like, a nice open field on a warm day, it's kind of fun. But no, not the Velox. Those guys are crazy! You know what they do? They like to race during freaking tornados. They claim that the wind and rain makes it an extra challenge, and they aren't wrong. But they also are crazy.

I was supposed to watch one of these races for the Almanac, but as soon as I saw that twister touch down I ran for cover. I aint going to let the wind throw me up into the sky for some silly race. Ill let a braver Animalian then I do the record keeping on these guys even if Nalla will be upset at me for it.
