Had a awesome Buenos Dias networking breakfast with the Nevada Hispanic Business Group Board, all our members and guests, and North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee!😀 John Lee had a really inspirational speech about his personal story of being a serial entrepreneur and how helped turn around the economy of North Las Vegas by making tough decisions with staffing (letting people go that weren't interested in the success of the city, just there to collect a paycheck and leave at 5pm) and making sure to surround himself with a winning team. One of the other main takeaways I got from him was to never give up on your dreams. All businesses go through a no pay, low pay, and over paid cycle so it's important to find what you are passionate about and work towards your goals everyday by taking daily and consistent actions. They key is to remember that the journey is the destination and who you become along the way from a character and belief standpoint and the people you help is way more important than any monetary amount.
