#vegans please

I really don't give a shit about your diet. No, really, I don't care what you eat. You can eat whatever the hell you want. In fact, the Vegans I know personally have taught me how to make some bomb ass animal product free dishes that have become some of my favorite foods. There are some raw vegan desserts out there that SLAY. These folks are either PoC or Vegan for health/spiritual reasons. They're cool in my book.

That said: My problem is with YOU. Your ideology, your shaming tactics, the fact that you think changing your diet from faux exploitation (of animals) to yet another and actually more prolific (and real) exploitation of the human beings who pick your food and work the crops and more. Veganism is a form of dietary gentrification.

Political Veganism is a toxic ideology full of horrible, racist, classist, privilege blind people who are doing absofuckinglutely NOTHING to change the food industry other than smugly trying to shame people out of being omnivores and so on.

Political Veganism is useless, stupid, packed with insufferable jackasses having false moral conniption fits and it's a personal identity that's the favorite of people who are so worthless that glomming onto something that is not only controversial but gives them excuses to attack people based on their DIET. Not to mention the overwhelming majority of you are sizeist freaks who also use weight to attack people when it's been disproven time and time again that Veganism is a surefire way to lose weight. (Its not unless you force yourself into a constant state of malnutrition and restriction which is really what they're trying to force on people when they fat-shame in order to try and convert motherfuckers) There are a FUCKLOAD of Vegans of size and, fucked up as it is, they shamelessly ALSO employ sizeism/ableism and so on to push their ideology. Like I said to someone earlier the tactics, language, shaming, proselytizing and so on of political veganism is dangerously close to how Anti-choicers/sidewalk counselors/anti-abortion terrorists operate. In fact, Vegan terrorism is also quite similar, isn't it? Yes, you all remind me of fundamentalist Catholics/Evangelists. The main difference is one side leans extreme Right and the other malaise-faire Left. throw you all together and who could tell you apart in the end? Not me. Let's not forget that Vegans and Anti-choicers attach themselves to their ideologies for the same reasons: You get to do nothing much at all, call yourself a revolutionary when you're just a fucking demagogue, celebrate your chance to finally be Holier-Than-Thou and figure you've finally made it to peak righteousness while the rest of us heathens are just shit under your shoe.
