are you still writing for maxwell beaumont? i just started reading your fics and you’re definitely the best writer for maxwell out there. have a teeny tiny request 👉👈 so really hope you are! no worries if not. thanks!!!!
Sorry Anon, forgot to reply! Thank you, that's so sweet. I have some WIPs I poke at every once in a while, but my inspiration is a fickle thing. I can't promise I'll fulfill a request, but I'll always at least consider a suggestion.

I'm about to sound like such a snob here, I apologize in advance. There is an embarrassment of riches with this ship, so I've been able to be picky. 😅 (However you enjoy fandom is totally fine! I'm just speaking to my own preference here)
I like sticking as close to canon as possible, and I prefer my ships as a very, very slow burn. To the point that the further into the relationship feelings are caught, the better. I don't think Klavier got a crush on Apollo from day 1—I find it more interesting if Klavier is holding this guy at arm's length because he's still sussing him out (What did he see in my brother that I couldn't? Can he help me clear up this doubt, or is he just a pawn of Phoenix Wright, and I can continue not thinking about what happened 7 years ago?), and slowly comes to realize that no, Apollo is exactly as earnest and straightforward as he appears on the surface, and finds himself drawn in despite himself.
On paper, what a dynamic: Klavier is a guy who openly switches between masks, and Apollo sees through lies and walks around with everything he feels written on his face. Klavier also just has the best prosecutor dynamic with Apollo, they bounce off each other so well.
My main problem with this ship's content is that people characterize the two of them so inconsistently. From Klavier's side, the guy is kind of hard to read and we're left with a lot of gaps to fill, so I can understand that. On Apollo's side, from what I understand, this is in large part because the english localization for Apollo didn't quite capture his voice right. But that dude is almost never the same guy from fic to fic. It's not always a bad thing! I've read some great stories that don't feel canon to me, but it's clear people do a lot of projecting on him in particular.
Potentially spicy take: I'd love to see more exploration of Apollo as bi, or only realizing he's into men once he realizes what he's feeling around Klavier isn't just jealousy. He shows interest in attention from women in canon, as a bi person myself I just think it'd interesting to have that acknowledged.
My roman empire for this ship is Apollo's line in Dual Destines where he implies the two of them have had an offscreen conversation about Constance Courte's influence on Klavier. Were they talking about Kristoph??
I think the fact that Apollo leaves at the end of AA6 is so, so juicy for them. Especially in my preferred version of things, where the two of them are still at the awkward stage of not really being friends yet, so neither of them really really have a good excuse to reach out, even if they might want to. Where Klavier has to find out about it from someone else, and he doesn't have the right to be hurt about that, but he maybe sort of definitely is anyway. Where Apollo grabs onto any secondhand mention of Klavier, and passes on greetings through other people.
Then the reunion between the two of them once they've had years apart to mature, where Apollo is more secure in himself and less jealous, and Klavier's relaxed his rockstar persona just a bit. Where they're old enough now that asking if they want want to grab a drink and catch up doesn't feel like as much of a risk.
The first time I played DD, I was shipping them on dynamic alone, and then they went and revealed their secret backstory meant their driving motivation was saving each other, and like.. what the fuck, man. (where's that meme of the two people folding over each other to jump in front of the gun. that's them lmao)
I like whatever flavor they come in, platonic or romantic, but I'll defend them as a ship because like.. idk man, they just make such a good juicy story! It's good times! It's been kinda wild seeing them go from slightly controversial but generally accepted as one of the main defense-prosecutor pairs, to the outright hostility of today?? they're not... actually..related...? guys....?? my puzzlement is immense. anyways.
Part of the appeal for me lies in that seven year gap of time they were apart. It was a deeply transformative time for the both of them, and it means they've both been fighting so hard for a version of each other that doesn't even exist anymore. They have to basically get to know each other from scratch, all while they're both completely realigning their lives now that their driving purpose has been completed. What is THAT like?
On the other hand, the contrast between their deep deep shared angst and the way they act so unserious around each other in day-to-day is delightful. They're ultimately both weirdos who laugh at their own jokes. They'll be here all week, convinced they're the funny one.
god it'd be really funny to put them as relationship goals. get someone who would die on their sword for you.

26. Do you make a list before going to the grocery store or just wing it? for the ask game XD
(ask meme)
Almost always, but to varying degrees. I meal prep for work, and depending what I'm up for it can vary from a list of all the individual ingredients for a recipe, to:
meat
vegetable
'a little treat' is always implied but unlisted.
If I'm really not feeling it, I'll just go to Costco and look for something that seems good for the week. Good ole Costco.
The best was customer support for a very very small tech company, but my favorite and one where I learned the most (and is more interesting to talk about) was teaching at an art studio. ♥️ The kids would work on their projects at their own pace, and us teachers would jump in when they needed help or were starting something new. I love teaching, but hate having to manage a whole class on my own, so it was kind of perfect.
Despite the peanuts it paid, I'm still really really glad I worked there for the time that I did. Not only were the kiddos great, but it left me with two major skills: Talking in front of people, and being able to look at something and find something beautiful about it. See, all the completed artwork went up on the board, and at the end of class, the teachers would take turns presenting each piece and saying something nice about it. If you'd worked with the student, you could make it more personal, but much more often it was the first time you were seeing this thing, and you still wanted each of the like 5 kids you had to say something about to feel like their work was honestly appreciated. You got very good at getting over your own self-consciousness and thinking on your feet very quickly.
I hope all those kids are doing well. ❤️ So weird that so many of them are adults now.
4. what's the worst job you've ever had?
This was the only job I got the one summer I tried doing the thing your parents want you to do, where you go around with your resume and ask if people are looking for work.
The head of a small real estate company hired me to call realtors from other companies to ask if they wanted to jump ship. I only got paid if I actually recruited someone. I am not built to be pushy. Spending all day making calls knowing basically everyone was going to say no was a personal nightmare. Just about everyone I called said they were happy where they were, and I just wanted to be glad for them.
For the week I was there, only 1 guy signed over. The boss lady wanted me to be there for his onboarding--which I found out when she called me, in the middle of a party that was at my house, and insisted I leave (my own party) (it might have been my birthday??) and come over right now.
After, she asked me to come in on Saturday so she could train me on something. When I got in, no one was there and she'd sent an email saying she'd been invited on a ski trip. I replied that I was quitting and did not go back.
13. what are your hobbies?
answered here!
14. what's a hobby you'd like to get into?
I'd love to start sewing my own clothes. I have a million excuses for why I haven't started yet, eventually I'll find something I really want to make that's way too complicated and jump in. As is the way. 😌
5. what's your favourite piece of furniture and where did you get it?
Do I have a favorite YES WAIT I ABSOLUTELY DO. So, I used to have a table in my room, ostensibly for sewing, that I was forced to admit had just become a messy shelf. And I was like. Yknow what would be great. If I had an actual shelf here. So I maybe would stop throwing my clothes on the floor.
I spent a week getting ghosted on FB marketplace before I gave up and got this pretty grey one from IKEA:
I filled it with $5 clear bins from Target (almost got opaque ones because I thought they'd look nicer, quickly realized: "No you fool, you will immediately forget what's in there if you can't see it." And the clear ones look nice after all!). Now I can just throw in things that don't need to be folded like shorts and sweaters, it's easy to find them when I want to, and my room looks SO much nicer :'DDD
Love my shelf. Very happy about my shelf.
13. what are your hobbies?
Mainly video games, but as for more interesting ones... I like working out, weightlifting mostly. It's been very satisfying getting strong, if you need furniture lifted, I'm ya girl. 💪
My current creative outlet is YouTube essays, it satisfies the part of me that loved getting an A on my English essays, but about obscure nerd topics 😆 And it's just so fun getting comments from people who love the things I love and are excited to be seeing a new angle on it. 💖
