The Summoner Meets the Sovereign
The shadow appeared behind Syndra, without a sound or any indication of his arrival.  As Vector materialized, he instantly looked about, taking in every detail he could within the first few seconds to make sure he hadn't invaded on some private activity or anything too personal.  After judging that the timing was appropriate, or at least in his mind it was, he reached out and formed a link between his and the other's mind and began to speak.
"Hello.  I am Vector, could we converse for the moment?"  The words formed within Syndra's mind, though they held no sound, voice, or even emotion she was easily able to sort them out and even imagine the direction they were coming from.  "I've seen you here and there, and I've seen you in battle.  I would be very honored if you'd spare me a fraction of your time."  With that said his head tilted to the side with a mechanical jerk, his body going fully still, save the shadows that constantly coiled around the beings form.
Syndra spun in the air, face twisting into her usual presented angered expression. She felt the magic touch her mind, auditory cortex directly stimulated by the being before her. Realizing this being had power, she refrained from attempting to murder it for invading her home. It matched her presence in midair, and it moved as though it were a construct, not human. It seemed to her to be a shade, a sentient being of pure magic and shadow.Â
Vector, you say your name is. Did you name yourself, shade? She spoke from her mind. I would not be surprised that one like you has heard of me. Most magical beings seek my presence. They titled me the Sovereign for a reason. Go on, speak. let me hear what you must say to me. In distrust and wariness, she pulled three orbs of dark matter from the fabric of space, and they began to float menacingly in circles around her legs. But be careful of what you say.
